March 21, 1906 -- October 3, 2000

TUMWATER, WA— Fomer Sunburst resident Ann C. (Allen) Koepke, 94, died of leukemia Oct. 3, 2000, at a retirement home in Olympia, WA.

Private services will be held. American Burial and Cremation Services 
of Tumwater was in charge of arrangements. 

She was born March 21, 1906, in Churches Ferry, ND, and worked on various farms as a young woman. 

She married Curtis Beecher; he died in 1952. She married William Koepke in 1956; he died in 1983. 

She was a cook at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp and worked in the school lunch program in Sunburst. She moved to Olympia in 1988. 

She was a member of the Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Sunburst, and the Lutheran Church and Senior Citizens Center in Plains. 

She enjoyed bingo, sewing, gardening and spending time at the family cabin. 

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Lotvedt of Cut Bank and Norma Husk of Olympia; two step-daughters, Loretta Jacobsen of Alberta and Marlene Koepke of Sunburst; a stepson, Bill Koepke Of Cut Bank; a brother, Lloyd Allen of San Diego; a sister, Ruby Cervinski of Sequim, WA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
