Sharon Darlene Chambers Habets passed away on the afternoon of November 29, 2023. 

Funeral services will be held at the Living Faith Baptist Church in Shelby at 10 am on December 9, 2023.   She will be buried with her husband and other family at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Cut Bank.

Sharon was born on December 16, 1939, in Cut Bank, Montana to John and Eunice (Victel) Chambers.  Sharon graduated from North Toole County High School in 1958.

She married Dennis Habets on November 29, 1958.  They had two children, Janine and Lanette. 

Sharon and Dennis lived in Kevin, Montana where she worked many various occupations including waitress, bookkeeper, and town clerk.  She owned her own ceramic shop for many years.  She taught numerous local people the skill of creating their own pieces of art to display.  She also enjoyed making stained glass items and creating pieces of home décor out of ostrich and emu eggs.

She loved creating flower gardens and her time across the mountains in the summer.

Sharon had moved to Helena in 2015 to be closer to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed and cherished her time with.

Sharon is survived by her children, Janine (Roger) Horgus and Lanette Habets.  Her grandchildren Beth (Ryan) Loomis, children Noah, Evie, Reece, and a baby boy due in April, Dylan (Laura) Horgus, Josh (Krystal) Frydenlund, children Tyler, Logan, and Brayden, Devan (Roxanne) Ballard, children Weston, Camden and Beau. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.
