January 5, 1927 – April 27, 2021

CASCADE, MT - Mildred "Milly" Montana White,94, of Cascade, MT, passed away after a short illness on April 27th, 2021. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will be held in Great Falls. The Service will be in the Rose Room Chapel Croxford Funeral Home on June 4th, 2021 at 1:00 pm; graveside services following at Hillside Cemetery in Cascade. Milly was born on January 5th, 1927 in Toole County. She was one of 8 children born to Emiel and Lena (Kain) Kohles. Milly graduated from Sunburst High School and in November 1945 she married Jack Winterrowd from Zurich. The couple were married for 28 years and shared two sons when Jack passed away in 1974. Tn 1976, Milly married John "Sam" White of Devon. They built a house on the Missouri River where they lived for 40 years.

Following her retirement from the US Postal Service, they spent many winters in Arizona, golfing, gambling and playing cards. Milly enjoyed traveling, music, dancing and watching sports on TV. She was a big sports fan! rarely missing MSU Bobcat or Green Bay Packer football and Boston Red Sox baseball. But mostly, she relished being with her friends and family, A favorite pastime of hers was hosting her grandchildren. Everyone was Milly's friend and she could be found laughing over a poker game or wine time until the end. She will be missed by all who knew her, for her smile and her love of life.

Milly was preceded in death by her husbands Jack Winterrowd and Sam White: her 7 siblings and son Greg Winterrowd.

She is survived by her son Doug (Eileen) Winterrowd of Boise, ID; daughter-in-law, Chris Winterrowd of Hardin; grandchildren, Erin, Kyle and Leanne; step-sons Owen (Mona) White of Cut Bank and Duane (Patsy) White of Circle; grandchildren Donya, Troy, Jacinda, Ty, Tara, Dusty and II great grandchildren.
