Kay A. Seymour, 67, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

A memorial service was held on Monday, June 11, at the First Baptist Church in Shelby.

Kay was born in Cut Bank to Floyd and Senora Grosser. She grew up in Kevin, but lived most of her life in Shelby, where she was known for her personality and quick wit during her many years of customer service. Kay liked to bowl and very much enjoyed her time on the women’s bowling leagues. She also enjoyed puzzles and time with her family. Kay was the glue that held her family together.

She is survived by her sisters, Darlene McClearen of Fort Worth, Texas, Charlene Barrett of Shelby, Lula (Ed) Brown of Leon, Mo., and Lori (Doug) Postma of Kevin; children: Stephanie Seymour of Oilmont, Joe (Jill) Seymour of Conrad, Allen Seymour of Great Falls, Pete (Teri) Seymour of Marion, Mike (Kendra) Seymour of Augusta, Jenifer (Buddy) Burlison of Shelby, Kiehlauna (Brian) Sazfryk of Conrad and Jaimie (Colten) Nutter of Shelby; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Senora; and her husband, Steve Seymour.
