Mr. Puckett was a great teacher and principal. In my case, it was at Oilmont Elementary School. He loved sports also and was always letting us do a few more minutes of baseball or basketball during lunch hour. Unfortuately I also got my only F from him in 8th grade Algerbra - he could be a tough teacher too.
