Comments:

After attending NTC for two years, my family moved west of Ronan, where I graduated from high school. I then received my BA and MA in Anthropology with a specialization in Archeology from the University of Montana and my Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

I met my husband, who is from Texas, in Missouri, and we moved to Wyoming where we have lived for over 30 years. We own an archeological consulting firm and work primarily for energy companies that need cultural reports in order to receive their federal permits. When not doing archeology for work, we do it for fun. Our research interest is rock art, and we have been around the world looking at pictographs and petroglyphs made by all our ancestors. We are especially interested in rock art in caves, and we have had the privilege to visit some of the most famous painted caves in France, including the real Lascaux (we've also been in the replica) and the more recently found Chauvet.

Our son Brian is a computer programmer. However, he cannot escape archeology. While on a trip with us to Spain to see some painted caves, he met Melissa, who was studying to be an archeologist. They currently live in Virginia, which is Melissa's home state.
