Linda Sonnemaker

I left Sunburst my sophomore year and graduated from high school in Great Falls. I was married a few years living in North Carolina, then moved to Portland Or area where I have lived for the past 36 years. Now I live 30 miles north of Portland in a small country town. I am retired from the phone company and decided a few years ago to sell my individual house and buy a larger one with my daughter and her family. So now I live with my daughter, son-in-law, and two grand kids. Dani is 17 and Eric is 9. I help with housework, errands, cooking and being with the kids. I gave my life to the Lord Jesus in 1981 and that was the best thing I ever did! I enjoy being with family and friends. I have done some mission trips so have also been able to travel. My favorite place is Europe but love being able to enjoy being home with my family in the beautiful Northwest.

I remember the girls running around the gym in junior high being chased by some boys. Some boy grabbed my pony tail and it came off (fake hair). He looked so bewildered especially because I started crying. I think he thought for a moment it was really my hair! At least that is how I remember it.
