According to Bob's aunt, Myrtle Fitzpatrick, Bob passed away in 1993. He had two sisters, Crystal and Wanda. Glenna Berezay McLeod and I both remember Crystal, but not Wanda.

Bob's family moved to Sweet Grass when I was in eighth grade. From our first meeting I loved this character, whom I immediately associated with with Ichabod Crane, from "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." He grew too fast, long and lanky, pants cuffs and sleeves two inches short, tousled red hair asunder in the prairie breeze, and a huge smile breaking across his face. We were constant companions, Mutt and Jeff, giant and midget.
Bob attracted minor misfortune as a magnet does steel, nothing catastrophic, just small bumps and bruises. He kept me laughing--always sympathetic chuckles. He was a steadfast friend in good times or bad. Every memory of him is fun.
I remember our very first hour at NTCHS. Bob never looked before he leapt. He was instantly infatuated with a "new" girl in the room, "From Kevin, maybe," he told me, "Watch an expert at work."
He sidled up next to her, and in his best Clark Gable imitation said, "Hey, slick chick, how about a date sometime?"
She answered, "Please take your seats, class. I'm Miss Egger, your Algebra teacher."
Typical Bob!
