Comments:

Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer. I've lived almost exclusively in Great Falls since graduation. We lived in Spokane for a year and also in Tonopah, NV. I like living in Montana and don't think I would want to be anywhere else. We love the mountains and the prairies; we can even put up with the snow most of the time. I met Bob in Great Falls when I came to spend the summer with my sister, Evelyn. Bob & I were married in 1957. I can't believe how quickly 53 years can go! I was employed as a secretary for a collection agency in the legal department and also as a church secretary in two different churches. Bob was employed with the Anaconda Company and Atlantic Richfield. He's retired from his business of 25 years-Bob's Rooter Service.
We have three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter! What a joy they are. Our son Jay and his family are with New Tribes Missions and are serving at the headquarters in Florida after spending over three years in Papua New Guinea.
Our favorite place is with family; in the mountains, and by the lake. We are involved in ministry at our church, establishing a church study library. I am involved in the church children's ministry with AWANA and the music ministry. Our main focus in life is following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the Giver of life and the Creator of all things, He is the Savior of those who place their trust in Him. He is the only Foundation in this world of changing values
and shifting sands.

School Story:

I remember being so excited to see our new high school being build and then moving into it during my Freshman year. It was like a dream come true!
Everything was so modern and beautiful. The Home Ec kitchens were wonderful. Our group would fix a full breakfast and have it an hour before lunchtime. I think I may have gained weight that year!
All the teachers were excellent the years I went to NTCHS; 52-56. They were of good character and taught moral values.
The class plays we put on in our Jr. & Sr. years were fun; "Hillbilly Wedding" and "Seventeenth Summer". Our prom theme was "Blue Moon" and we had a large foil globe up in the middle of the gym. Our Jr. banquet was held in Great Falls at the DeMolay and our Sr. Banquet was in Lethbridge. Our sneak day was in Calgary and we planned to go to Banff, a snowstorm changed our plans and we ended up spending most of our time in the Hotel ( a really nice classic old place) and also shopping in the large department stores.
We played volleyball in Phys. Ed. in high school and Mr. Edwards was our teacher. I remember serving the ball and hitting him hard right in the face with it!
I remember the school dances in the English/History area. Our History teacher, Mr. Zadra played the drums and Mrs. Christopherson played the piano. What good music that was. I was usually part of the clump of girls that waited to be asked to dance. Sometimes we would get tired of waiting for the shy guys and just dance with each other.
High school was filled with both fun times and not so fun times but all in all it was a growing experience and filled with alot of good memories.
I think we grew up in the best of times. Times of innocence and hope.
