John Kiehl Nutter

SUNBURST — John Kiehl Nutter, 54. a longtime rancher in this area, died Tuesday, March 2, 1993, at a Great Falls hospital.
 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sunburst Methodist Church, Burial will be in the Sunburst Cemetery. Bums Funeral Home of Shelby is in charge. 

Nutter was born Aug. 3, 1938. at Sweetgrass. He graduated from Sunburst High School and attended Rocky Mountain College at Billings. 

In 1957 he married Peggy Fay Breuer at Sunburst 

Nutter, along with being a rancher, was a pilot. He had numerous other businesses including Bader Supply and Nutter Construction. He was a rural fire fighter, member of the Sunburst Methodist Church and had been a Boy Scout leader for several years. 

He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing in the ocean

He is survived by his wife at the family home and his parents, Karl and Edna Nutter of Sunburst; three daughters, two sons, a brother, two sisters and eight grandchildren.
