My Dad passed away June 22, 1983 of cancer. I only got to spend almost 21 years with Dad, which was not enough. I do have have some great memories, which I often share with my two boys. One of the things my Dad wanted most was grandchildren, unfortunately he never got to meet the six special ones that arrived in the years after he passed away. My Mom joined him in heaven October 02, 1998 after a 2 day illness. I miss them both terribly, but I am thankful that I still have my sisters.
