This is my dad. He died April 29, 2000. Up until the last 6 months of his life, he was still "Crusty Rusty". I got to see how much he must have enjoyed having us when we were little kids because he acted the same way with his grandchildren: my daughter Kimbery & Cleve's 3: Kallie, Darcey & John. (Although the grandkids got lot more spoiled by him which is normal I think!) Kimberly had a pet rabbit that died when she was about 10 years old. Now if that had happened to any of his own kids, he would've thrown it in the back of the pickup & pitched out in a field, or maybe at the dump & then told us he buried it in the tree lot. Well grandkids got the real thing... He went and got a shovel & dug a hole that must have been 3' diameter & 6' deep. Then he got a special box that the rabbit fit into and put it in the bottom very carefully. He even helped Kimberly say a prayer over this rabbit!!! Nona
