I was married to my h.s. sweetheart Dave (Bub) Stene in July of 1959. Our 50th anniversary will be this summer. We've lived in Kevin where we raised our three boys. They are all married and we have 6 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. I spent many years working at the Toole Co. Treasurer's Office in Shelby and then I switched jobs to become the school clerk at Sunburst where I stayed for 18 1/2 yrs., until retirement. We are not "snowbirds" that travel south in the winter but we do spend a lot of our summers at our cabin in the mountains, which we built in 1975. We love the company of friends & family both in Kevin and at the cabin. Many a good story has been 'spun' as we sit around the campfire roasting marshmallows (and a few may be partaking of a beer or two). Music, memories, & great times to come are reminders of our lives together. Friends & family are the foundation of my life. Never famous, but always there for a joke and a good laugh!
