Beverly Thompson (Coolidge) - Class Of 1956 VIEW PROFILE

Beloved Beverly Ruth (Thompson) Coolidge, of Calgary, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at the age of 76 years.

Funeral services where held at McInnis & Holloway on Thursday, Jan. 15.

Beverly was born in Shelby, grew up in the oilfields of Northern Montana, and graduated from Sunburst High School in 1956. After graduation she was employed at the Capital Cafe and First State Bank of Shelby, and was an active member of the St. Luke’s Lutheran Choir. She married Gus Coolidge Jr. in 1959, and after the birth of her three children, the family moved from Montana to work in the Canadian oil industry at Calgary in 1967. She raised her family and worked as a florist in her own shop and later with Canada Safeway for many years.

Beverly had a love beyond compare for her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by daughter, Jeanne; son, David (Kate); daughter-in-law, Karna; and grandchildren, Joel, Evan, Diana, Sarah and Amanda; and Miles City.

She was predeceased by her son, Gus III.
