Marlene Richmond Byrd

Marlene Kay “Punkie” Richmond (Meagher) Byrd, passed away February 7, 2016. Marlene was born September 28, 1938 to Monty and Alice Richmond. She married Terry Meagher in 1956, and the two saw the joy of 4 daughters born to them. They later divorced in 1976. Marlene married George Byrd, of Philipsburg, MT in 1977. They later divorced.

Marlene had resided in Helena area nursing homes for the past 10 years. Surviving are daughters Teri Marlene Mundahl (Mike) of Billings, MT; Lori Jo Mann (Louis) of Sutherlin, OR; Nancy Marie Gartner (Jim) of Santa Ana, CA; and Jodi Gail Lindgren (Scott) of Helena, MT. She is also survived by her sister Donna Anderson, 3 half-brothers: Mike Richmond, Randy Richmond and Rick Richmond; 10 grandchildren: Zachary Mundahl, Nathan Mundahl, Terry Mann, Ted Mann, Rachel Mann, Sarah Mann, Christopher Gartner, Jenna Gartner, Georgia Lindgren and Samuel Lindgren; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
