Busyraising family, started working in 1979 as my parish secretary, worked 8 years in the religious education office before that as a volunteer. Lived in Frankfort for the last 41 years on 6 1/2 acre horse farm. At this time the horse business and shavings business are down just like our economy.
My business is being run by by adopted daughter, Diane. She hauls the shavings and cleans the horse stalls and buy and sells the horses. I have only four horses at this time, one donkey, two miniture horses, eight head of special cows, long-horns, Watusi, and brahmas, assorted cats and a dachsund named Maddie. Lost my husband, Don in March of 2008 from conjested heart failure. He was a hard worker never took vacations but was always willing for me to take trips to Italy, Alaska and to Glacier Park for our family reunions with the Fitzpatricks and Courts. Most of Don's travels took him to horse sales in Wisonsin and Iowa anywhere he could drive. He didn't like too fly even though He was stationed at the Malmstrom Air Force in Great Falls in 1956 when I met him. If anyone would like to get in touch with me. My email address is bulletin@stmarymokena.org.
