Curtis Coleman - Class Of 1952 VIEW PROFILE

SUNBURST - Curtis Lee Coleman, 77 of Sunburst, a longtime North Toole County farmer and rancher, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, after a long bout with cancer.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services were held April 2 at Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby. Burial of ashes will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Cut Bank at a later date.

Curt was born Aug. 21, 1933 to Woodrow and Gladys (Shores) Coleman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served his country during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the Sunburst Saddle Club and the Sunburst Roping Club. He enjoyed hunting and golf and was an avid reader and history buff.

Curt is survived by his son, Clay of Great Falls; stepson, John Harper of Cut Bank; step-daughter, Mary Jane Chambers of Sweet Grass; five grandchildren, Michelle, Craig, Curtis, Christopher and Courtney; four great grandchildren, Cameron, Kyle, Sierra and Jonathan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
