After graduation I started my family, got married to my high school sweetheart and moved to Kevin. I worked various jobs in the Sunburst/Kevin area and then in 1993 I went to work in SweetGrass for W.Y. Moberly Inc. I worked in the warehouse for 13 years. I worked with a lot of great people and remain friends with many of them. In April of 2006 I decided to start a new career. I applied for a job with the Montana Highway Patrol. I celebrated my 43rd birthday while at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy. I have been told that I am the oldest female ever to be hired by the Montana Highway Patrol. Working as a Trooper for the MHP is very challenging. I realized early on that I would face every fear that I ever had in my life doing this job. It is a great organization to work for and I work with a great group of men and women. I am stationed out of Great Falls.
After the death of my mother in 1996, my sister Velma, brother Mike and I took up backpacking. We have added family members to the trips and even subtracted a few but have continued to find beautiful places all over Montana to hike. In August of 2008 we made it out to Seattle where my brother Thom lives and backpacked around MT Rainier.
Sadly to say, both of my parents have passed but I remain close to all my brothers and sisters(there are nine of us).
My husband David and I celebrated 26 years of marriage on February 18th 2010. David graduated from college in May of 2008 with a degree in Addictions Counseling. We bought a house and moved to Great Falls in November of 2008. Our son Justin lives and works in Great Falls as well. It is great to have him close. I don't have the honor of being a grandma yet. I have been told not to push the subject many times. Life if great and I am enjoying every second of it.

School Story:

I have many great memories of Mr. Haugen and pep band. NTCHS pep band ROCKED for many years. How many great drummers did we have the honor of listening to? Dimming the lights for the Flag Presentation, the National Anthem and who could forget Hawaii Five-0???? We all came together for the band. Remember our attempt at the marching band? To this day I can still play the School Song without looking at the music. Thanks Haugy. I have no doubt you are playing music with the Man upstairs as we speak.
