Comments:

I am married to a great guy named Terry Fein. He is a fisherman ( lake, stream and ocean), hunter ( pheasant , deer, antelope) and golfer ( has a 9 handicap). But he is also a master gardener (our yard looks great) and is a terrific chef ( he does all the cooking). He also enjoys tying flies, carpentry, and doing taxidermy. Life is good and so we both love being retired and travel quite frequently.

My sister, Janelle Curtis, lives in Boise, Idaho with her husband, Dick. They have 3 grown children and one grandchild.

My brother, Mike Burkett , also lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife, Kaydeen. They have two children, with the youngest still in college.

I am sorry to announce that our mother, Leona Burkett, passed away peacefully at home on Dec 1, 2009 and our father, Bob Burkett, passed away peacefully at the ranch on June 13, 2015. We all miss them both so very much.

School Story:

I left Sunburst Highschool after my sophomore year, attending my Junior and Senior year at Pocatello , Idaho.

I attended the University of Idaho , as a Gamma Phi ( great fun) and graduated in 1968.
I chose to graduate in 3 years, since dad said he would pay for only 4 years of school. To do that I attended summer school in Hawaii ( it was tough) and then went on to graduate school at the University of Washington.

After graduating I was able to work the next 10 years as a school psychologist, school counselor and school teacher in order to get certified in all three areas. Then in 1979 I started my family and became a stay home mom ( which is the greatest job in the world).

After the children had grown and were in high school I returned to work as a School Psychologist and as a single mom. I retired upon turning 60 and celebrated by going on a cruise through the Mediterranean sailing around Italy, the Greek Islands and Turkey.

I now work part time for 2 days a week ( 6 hours a day) as a psychometrist for a Neuro-Psychologist. I job share with another retired school psychologist, so we have a lot of flexibility in making our schedule. I enjoy the structure of work, and appreciate the ability to keep my mind moving. Update....I just retired in 2018. Great fun.
