Comments:

My wife, Rosemary, and I are currently living in Los Alamos, NM. I am working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, and my wife plans that I will work there until our son, Christopher, is finished with college, which should be a couple of more years. If I'm still alive by the time of the reunion, I'll only have another year to go.

Update (April 2012): I retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory this month. My priority is to enjoy the rest of my life with my wife, Rosemary. To keep my mind somewhat engaged, I plan to continue working half time or so as a consultant. However, I have so many hobbies and interests that I never got to spend enough time on that I may not need to work to keep my brain working.

The pictures below are experiments with scanned photos that I'm playing with. I've been helping with the website, and a lot of our non-digital history is black and white photos.

This is the class of '61 at the reunion in '93? This picture has greater resolution than it appears. I initially uploaded it to the photos section, but it's format was too large for that. I will ask the Division editor this week about what I can do with Adobe Photoshop to take out some of the glare.

I imported this scan into Adobe Photoshop. It's a 37 kb file, which seems like plenty for a small snapshop, so let's see what it does.

This is a little smaller photo, but I imported it into photoshop at higher resolution. It's an 80 kb file.

This is a scan of a "official Air Force" photo--8 1/2" by 11". I was surprised at how well it came out. If you have some large format photos of the old days, let me know and we can work on getting them posted somewhere on the reunion site. Marv

This is a family photo which was taken in March, 1968. At the top left is my brother Donny, who passed away from a heart attack.

This is another photo I scanned. It's 10-12 years old, and still good color.
