Went to MSU in Bozeman, graduated in 1982 and was accepted into veterinary school at Colorado State from 1983 to 1987. Practiced large and small animal medicine and surgery along the front range of Colorado from 1987 to 2004. Then I went to work for the Montana Department of Livestock as the Assistant State Veterinarian with one year of Acting State Veterinarian.
This job regulates the public health by monitoring and preventing animal disease that affects human disease-zoonotic disease transmission.
I worked for MSU Extension as a Animal Health/Animal Disaster specialist and now am a consultant for animal and public health.
I run a small herd of cattle and horses in Judith Basin County.
For fun, I sing in community choirs as an alto- in Colorado, Helena and now Great Falls Symphony. I have been fortunate to travel to Europe to sing in many wonderful cathedrals, churches and countries. Praising God and Singing!
