During the summers after graduating from NTCHS, I worked for a Land Development called "Star Valley Ranch" in Thayne, Wyoming.
In the spring of 1981, I graduated from Eastern Montana College in Billings earning a BS Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement. My first teaching assignment was in a first grade classroom that fall at Holdaway Elementary in Thayne.
I had three years of teaching under my belt before I married Robert Point on July 2, 1983 at the Chapel of Transfiguration in the Tetons.
I taught first grade for 16 years and I have been teaching kindergarten for the last 12 years.
My husband owns and operates his own construction company "Robert Point Construction" in Star Valley and builds custom homes. He is also a LOGIX Dealer for our area.
Garrett, graduated from Sheridan College this spring with an associate degree in Biology. He is working for the Game and Fish for the State of Wyoming and will be attending the University of Wyoming this fall in Laramie to finish his degree. He is the proud owner of his own airplane. One day he hopes to be a "Bush" plane pilot living in Alaska.
Shelby, will be an 8th grader at the Star Valley Middle School this fall. She takes piano lessons and plays the violin in our school orchestra. She loves snowboarding and going hunting with her dad. Shelby killed her first antelope this year.
My dad (Tom) passed away in l996 and my mother (Helen) is living in Harlem Montana.
