I have a new job working for a small family-owned solar installation firm, Fire Mountain Solar, which installs rooftop solar PV (photovoltaic) for grid-tied or off-grid solar electricity. I present educational workshops and arrange for solar site assessments and proposals to owners of homes, farms and small rural businesses. I recently joined the board of Solar Washington, an educational nonprofit promoting solar. Other ways I spend time include beach walks, mountain hikes, sea-kayaking, environmental activism, helping with the local farmers market, and time with friends and family.
