Frances Campanian

After highschool I went to Montana State University-North for a brief period, taking their nursing program. I wish I would have stuck to it, because it is a field I have always been interested in, but never pursued. Instead, I pursued a career that I was brought up in, bartender, for over thirty years, still kind of a nurse. I worked in Gt. Falls and Shelby for a few years, having a lot of fun with friends here. I moved to the Napa Valley in 1979. I fell in love with the beauty and the mild climate of this incredible place. Also, being in the Bay Area and very near San Francisco and Oakland, CA, there is a big variety of music, which has been one of my passions forever. There is nothing better than going to see a live performance whether it is jazz, rock, blues,classical or a play. There are a lot of incredible small venues in The Napa Valley. I have settled in Calistoga the last 20 years after living in Napa and St. Helena. I am very happy that my sister, Sandy, lives in the city of Napa and my mother, Eva Campanian, lives right down the street from me in Calistoga. It is a lively little town of 5400 that people travel to from all over the world. Not only known for its delicious wine, warm climate and famous mineral hot springs, but its' parades, concerts in the park and hospitality make it a distinctive destination.

I am glad I graduated from a small highschool. It is nice to touch base with old friends when I am visiting Montana. NTCHS was a great school and I always loved going to the basketball and football games, as did everybody else. The school spirit was GREAT!
